Following the first half-year meeting in March, the second half-year meeting focused on child safety management education and strengthening communication skills of caregivers under the theme "Care that Opens the Heart." The program provided education on smooth communication between caregivers and users, receiving great responses.
Additionally, the Eastern Gyeongnam Care Workers Support Center awarded exemplary caregiver awards to those who have had a positive influence on other caregivers. One award-winning caregiver said, "Although it can be physically exhausting at times, seeing children grow up bright and healthy deeply moves me."
Kang Jeong-sook, Director of the Women's and Youth Division, stated, "The child care support project is a very important initiative that reduces parenting burdens for parents and complements blind spots in facility-based childcare. Yangsan City's child care service will do its best to be a reliable helper that citizens can always trust to care for their children."
The child care support project provides visiting care services by caregivers to children under 12 years old in families experiencing parenting gaps due to reasons such as both parents working. Government support applications can be made by visiting the Eup, Myeon, Dong administrative welfare centers or through the Bokjiro website.
