The 'Korea Communication Awards' is an awards ceremony hosted by the Korea Association of Communication Editors and supported by major domestic and international organizations such as the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It annually selects outstanding works among newsletters and communication content produced by private and government institutions.

This year, over 500 entries were submitted, and a panel of about 120 judges reviewed and selected the final winners.

Namyangju City's municipal newsletter 'THE Namyangju' received high praise for its quality planning and content composition, once again demonstrating the city's promotional capabilities. In particular, it received great responses for effectively delivering major municipal news to citizens while incorporating useful information and warm emotions in its design.

Park Sun-young, the Public Relations Officer, said, “We are very pleased that Namyangju City's municipal newsletter has been recognized as an excellent magazine representing Korea,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to produce more innovative and beneficial content for citizens to become a trusted newsletter.”

Meanwhile, 'THE Namyangju' is provided not only in booklet form every month but also as a mobile webzine and audiobook, and is available at public institutions such as town and township community centers, libraries, and sports and cultural centers.

Namyangju citizens who wish to subscribe for free can apply online through the city’s website or by phone through the Public Relations Office’s municipal promotion team.
