The Administrative and Autonomy Committee of Gwangju City Council (Chairman An Pyeonghwan) visited the former Jeonnam Provincial Office on the morning of the 22nd to check the progress of the project.
During the site visit, the committee members listened to explanations about the representative exhibition content and urged the promotion team to do their best in restoring the original form.
They also visited Jeonil Building 245 to meet with the 'Guardians of the 3,000 Days of Waiting for Restoration' mothers, conveying their comfort and gratitude.
The committee members held a meeting with the exhibition content team of the Former Jeonnam Provincial Office Restoration Promotion Team, listening to the basic and future detailed plans and gathering opinions.
An Pyeonghwan, Chairman of the Administrative and Autonomy Committee, said, “I hope that the restoration project of the former Jeonnam Provincial Office will not only inherit the community spirit protected by the citizens of Gwangju but also become a space where future generations can come together through new changes.”
