Yangju City Hosts '2024 Social Service Personnel Day' Event

Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 22nd that it held and successfully concluded the ‘2024 Social Service Agent Day Event’ on the 21st to encourage and boost the morale of social service agents who provide welfare services and support various tasks for public interest at their respective workplaces.

The event was attended by about 150 social service agents working at local administrative agencies and social welfare facilities, who gathered at Megabox Yangju to watch the latest released movie together.

Additionally, 16 attendees were selected by lottery to receive special leave, providing an opportunity to relieve stress and dedicate themselves to their service with a renewed spirit in 2025.

A Yangju City official stated, “We hope this event serves as an opportunity to relieve the stress accumulated from work and to foster unity as members of Yangju City,” adding, “We expect them to carry out their duties with pride and responsibility for the happiness and safety of the people.”
