Uijeongbu City Hosts the 18th Gyeonggi Northern Photography Research Association Exhibition

Held from the 25th to the 29th at the City Hall Main Building 1st Floor Citizen Gallery

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 22nd that the 18th photo exhibition by the Gyeonggi Northern Photography Research Association (President Kim Kwang-soo) will be held from 10 a.m. on the 25th to 6 p.m. on the 29th at the Citizens Gallery on the 1st floor of the City Hall main building.

Under the theme "In Search of the Beauty of Korea," this photo exhibition will display 42 works featuring beautiful domestic landscapes and cultural heritage, meticulously captured over a year by members of the Gyeonggi Northern Photography Research Association.


The exhibition will showcase photos such as the morning sunrise at Dodamsambong, one of the Eight Views of Danyang, Byeongsan Seowon, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, Bomunjeong in Gyeongju, introduced by CNN as one of Korea's scenic spots, and Heaven Lake on Baekdu Mountain, which embodies the spirit of the Korean people.


President Kim Kwang-soo said, "By holding the exhibition at the Citizens Gallery, we hope that many people passing through City Hall will enjoy the deepening autumn's beautiful scenes throughout Korea and have a healing time," adding, "I hope this will be a meaningful exhibition of hope that brings Uijeongbu City one step closer to becoming a cultural city."
