Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Provides 10 Million KRW Growth Support Fund to 25 Startup and Venture Companies

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (President Hwang Ju-ho) delivered growth support funds to 25 startup and venture companies at the KHNP Radiation Health Center in Seoul on the 21st.

In August, KHNP recruited 56 nationwide startup and venture companies established less than seven years ago that have an ESG management foundation and show promising growth potential. After a fair and transparent process including document screening, on-site inspection, and final face-to-face evaluation, 25 companies were ultimately selected. This was implemented as part of KHNP's 'Venture Wings' project, which aims to give promising companies wings to grow.

Following the delivery of growth support funds on the same day, Professor Lee Jae-seok from Hanyang University, an expert in startup and venture companies, gave a special lecture on "How to Write Business Proposals and Reports at Different Stages of Corporate Growth."

Hua Co., Ltd., selected as a beneficiary of this project, stated, "We are grateful that KHNP, the largest power generation company in Korea, practices such mutual growth and revitalizes the startup ecosystem," adding, "Through KHNP's support, we will advance our product services and enhance competitiveness to create an opportunity for a leap forward."

KHNP plans to further expand the 'Venture Wings' project and implement a customized support program based on corporate capabilities in 2025.
