Livestock Byproduct Processing Company 'Hongchang M&T' Donates 10 Million KRW Birthrate Support Fund to Gyeongbuk Province

Hongchang M&T Co., Ltd. visited the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government on the 22nd and donated 10 million KRW to overcome low birth rates, attended by Lee Cheol-woo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, Jeon Woo-heon, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, and other officials.

Located in Geumho-eup, Yeongcheon City, Hongchang M&T Co., Ltd. is a company that produces meat and bone meal and feed oil by rendering livestock by-products. It is recognized as an industry leader, having received the '2022 Korea Industry Award,' the 'Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award,' and holding the 'No. 1 market share in the domestic market.' Rendering is known as an eco-friendly and efficient processing method that physically and chemically grinds livestock by-products and then treats them under high temperature and high pressure.

Additionally, the company continuously practices various sponsorships for the local community, including annual scholarship donations, donations for flood recovery in Yecheon last year, and contributions to overcome low birth rates in Yeongcheon City.
