The film "10 Years After Sinking, Zero Sum" was invited to this year’s Jeonju International Film Festival but struggled to find a suitable distributor until over 1,000 citizens joined as distribution committee members, enabling its public release. Subsequently, the Korea Smart Cooperative, which supports artists' rights protection and creative activities, has helped secure screening venues nationwide.

Thanks to voluntary fundraising and sponsorship by citizens for the first screening, fueled by the public’s desire to uncover the truth about the Sewol disaster, Korea Smart Cooperative and Fourth Moon have launched a Tumblbug crowdfunding campaign to sustain the momentum of 'Nth viewings.' A film representative stated, “By reaching the Tumblbug funding goal, we hope to hold 416 screenings nationwide, providing an opportunity to revisit the unresolved issues of the Sewol disaster even after 10 years and to explore the direction of truth-seeking demands together with citizens.”

"10 Years After Sinking, Zero Sum" is a film that, despite multiple investigations, raises doubts about the still unknown cause of the sinking and takes an in-depth look at the 10-year history of the Sewol ferry. It is based on information verified with experts who approached the facts as closely as possible and eyewitnesses from that time to find answers to the mystery. The distribution committee members who supported the film said, “Watching this film reminded us once again of the promise made to the Sewol victims to ‘never forget’ on that day,” and added, “We hope to share this screening opportunity with many people.”
