Analysis of Accident Causes and Disaster Characteristics... Proposing Improvement Measures
Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 21st that it conducted a 'Special Safety Education for School Construction to Prevent Major Accidents' at the Suncheon Bay Ecological Culture Education Center.
The training was planned in cooperation with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Yeosu branch) for facility technical staff and contract officers, aiming to establish safety measures for all construction work carried out in schools, rather than typical safety education.

The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency provided guidance on the joint inspection plan targeting next year's goal of 'zero accidents,' including ▲ accident cause analysis through on-site inspections at schools ▲ characteristics and causes of accidents in construction projects commissioned by the education office ▲ and suggestions for improvement measures.
Additionally, education on emergency treatment methods for heat-related illnesses and cold-related illnesses was provided to prevent accidents caused by heatwaves and cold spells.
Kang Sang-cheol, Director of the Safety and Welfare Division, stated, “We will establish professional and effective safety measures through a solid cooperative system with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure the health and safety of school members.”
