LG Energy Solution has carried out its regular executive personnel appointments for 2025.
On the 21st, LG Energy Solution held a board meeting and resolved the promotion of a total of 14 executives for 2025, including ▲1 promotion to Vice President ▲2 promotions to Senior Executive Vice President ▲10 new appointments to Executive Director ▲1 new appointment to Senior Research Fellow (Executive Director).
The scale of executive promotions for 2025 has been significantly reduced compared to last year’s 24 promotions (1 Vice President, 4 Senior Executive Vice Presidents, 19 Executive Directors) to overcome crisis situations such as the slowdown in global electric vehicle market demand.
LG Energy Solution stated that the characteristics of this personnel appointment focus on securing fundamental competitive advantages and strengthening future readiness through ▲enhancing R&D (Research and Development) competitiveness ▲securing product/quality competitive advantages ▲strengthening structural cost competitiveness ▲and reinforcing organizational capabilities from the perspective of future technology and business model innovation.
