Attorney Han Moon-cheol Gives Traffic Safety Lecture in Jindo-gun

Providing Accident Prevention Information for Agricultural Machinery and Animal Incidents
Ceremony for Donating Self-Developed Reflective Cloaks and Hats

Jindo County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Hee-su) invited Han Moon-chul, a traffic accident specialist lawyer well known by the nickname ‘Hanbly,’ to give a lecture on the 14th.

According to the county on the 21st, about 350 Jindo residents attended this academy. Lawyer Han Moon-chul organized traffic accident videos by situation and shared important information to keep in mind while driving. He also explained precautions related to agricultural machinery and animal accidents, which frequently occur in rural fishing villages.

On the same day, Lawyer Han Moon-chul donated 100 retroreflective cloaks and 100 retroreflective hats that he personally developed and produced, as well as 130 retroreflective umbrellas for children attending public kindergartens in the area.

The items donated by Lawyer Han reflect the light from vehicle headlights at night to indicate location and prevent accidents. In particular, the retroreflective cloaks are expected to significantly reduce traffic accident rates by being installed on the rear of electric wheelchairs or cultivators mainly operated by elderly people, making them easily visible even in rainy or poor visibility conditions.

Governor Kim Hee-su said, “We appreciate Lawyer Han Moon-chul’s love for Jindo County and his thoughtful consideration. We expect his lecture to play a major role in establishing an advanced traffic culture.” He added, “We will continue to invite experts from various fields to provide lectures to improve the quality of life for residents and promote a lifelong learning culture.”

Meanwhile, the Jindo Citizen Happiness Academy is the first large-scale public lecture in 14 years since the ‘Jindo School’ held in 2010. Since April of this year, it has invited distinguished figures from various fields every month to give lectures, and plans to continue this initiative in 2025 as well.
