The 'Hongik Eoullim Cultural Space' is part of the city's 'Pilot Apartment Project for Urban-Rural Community.' It utilizes idle spaces within the apartment complex to serve as a place for interaction between apartment residents and the nearby village community residents.

The newly opened space was created by repurposing the old senior citizens' center within the apartment complex, which had been largely unused and neglected. This space will be used as a venue for exchange and communication between apartment residents and village community members in Geumgwang-myeon, as well as a place to enjoy various programs based on residents' needs.

Meanwhile, about 50 people, including Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong, and Kim Byeong-yeong, the representative of the Hongik Apartment residents' association, attended the opening ceremony held on the 20th. Mayor Kim said, "The pilot apartment project for urban-rural communities is hoped to become a model that goes beyond merely buying and selling agricultural products within the complex, fostering affection among residents through various community activities and spreading vitality to the local community."

Anseong City is operating community spaces as part of the pilot apartment project for urban-rural communities, along with a pilot direct agricultural product market and experiential programs involving both the experiential village and apartment residents.
