On the 19th, a monthly meeting was held at Mungyeong GC located in Mungyeong-si, Gyeongbuk, attended by over 40 professional managers including executives of public golf courses. The association reported on the progress of research related to the ‘Improvement Plan for Turf Clippings Disposal,’ which is a key project for this year, and disclosed the results of the public golf course usage fee survey for the first half of 2024.


On that day, KIGM CEO Kwon Seong-ho explained the considerations to be taken into account when budgeting for course management costs next year and also demonstrated the ECM app for efficient course management. In addition, the Korea Road Traffic Authority introduced recent cases of cart safety accidents occurring at golf courses and gave a lecture on the scope of road traffic regulations applicable to golf course carts and precautions for preventing safety accidents. Chairman Lim Ki-ju stated, "The association will strive to provide high-quality services to golfers through more rational and systematic course management at golf courses. We will always do our best to achieve ‘Zero’ safety accident rates."
