Hanwha Foretna, the residential brand of Hanwha Construction Division, has been selected as one of the top 7 brands in Real Estate R114's '2024 Best Apartment Brands.' It is recognized as having established itself as a premium residential brand just five years after its launch.

Launched in 2019, Hanwha Foretna means 'connection' in Swedish. Hanwha Foretna embodies Hanwha Construction Division's commitment to creating a new residential culture through the 'connection between people and space.' By applying a wordmark brand without a symbol mark, it adds expansiveness to sophisticated beauty. It is regarded as playing a leading role in the Apartment Brand 2.0 era.

Hanwha Foretna is a single residential brand applied to apartments, mixed-use complexes, and officetels. It is strengthening its brand status through increased sales and exposure frequency. Over the past five years, Hanwha Construction Division has supplied 48,000 Hanwha Foretna brand apartments, including Ansan Gojan 2nd Phase, Gwangju Unam, and Chungju Hoam this year.

Hanwha Foretna enhances differentiation by maintaining a design concept across the entire residential space while developing products preferred by actual users. The 'Foretna Exterior' reflects the 'connected and expanded unique design philosophy of Hanwha Foretna' from apartment entrances to pilotis, colors, and patterns. It creates a distinctive image on the exterior so that Hanwha Foretna can be recognized from afar.

The brand continuously introduces differentiated specialized products that elevate its status. A representative example is the country's first ceiling-type electric vehicle charging system, the ‘Foretna EV Air Station.’ This system, where connectors descend electrically from the ceiling, can be installed without reducing existing parking spaces and allows simultaneous charging of up to three vehicles with one charger. It solves space shortage issues while adding economic efficiency and convenience. Hanwha Construction Division installed 20 ceiling-type electric vehicle chargers at ‘Hanwha Foretna Pohang’ and plans to expand its application to future residential complexes.

In line with the era of 15 million pet owners, Hanwha Foretna has proactively introduced pet-exclusive playgrounds called 'Foretna Pet Friends Park' and pet-specialized designs called 'Pet Friends Interior.' Other products reflecting residential trends and customer demands include the 'Foretna Blue Air System,' which uses air curtains to reduce fine dust concentration; the resident communication space ‘Foretna Cafe Breeze’; the creative play space ‘Foretna Merry Kids Ground’; and the 'Foretna Home IoT,' which links smart functions with mobile applications, further strengthening Hanwha Foretna’s uniqueness.

Hanwha Construction Division plans to introduce the ‘Smart Facial Recognition Lobby Phone,’ allowing residents convenient access to common entrances through facial recognition. Equipped with anti-spoofing technology to enhance access control, it also applies a universal design considering various users such as wheelchair users and children.

Hanwha Construction Division is also focusing on strengthening its design capabilities. The ‘Foretna Signature Security Light,’ selected for the 2024 Good Design (GD) award, received praise for combining usability and aesthetics with real-time fine dust display functionality and anti-glare design for nighttime pedestrians. Additionally, it has accumulated 39 Good Design (GD) marks, including the ‘Foretna Hair Dryer Storage System’ in 2023 and ‘Foretna Edge Look’ in 2020.
