Videos posted on social media show the female dancer wearing a long skirt dancing around the fire. As she waved her skirt and spun, sparks flew, creating an effect resembling a dragon breathing fire. During the performance, a strong gust of wind caused the dancer's skirt to catch fire. The startled dancer tried to extinguish the flames by flapping her skirt but eventually took off the skirt and quickly exited the stage.
The audience watching the performance screamed after realizing what had happened. The fire was extinguished by staff who rushed onto the stage. The dancer suffered minor burns but was reported to be out of danger. Netizens who saw the video commented, "We should always have a fire extinguisher ready," "Make skirts from fire-resistant fabric," "Fortunately, quick action prevented an accident," and "What if the skirt hadn’t come off like that?"

Earlier, in September last year, a fire broke out during a 'Globe of Death' stunt performance at an amusement park in Shanxi Province, northern China, where stuntmen performed acrobatics inside a transparent sphere riding motorcycles that sparked flames. At that time, two stuntmen were riding motorcycles inside the sphere, drawing an X shape, when one crashed to the floor, causing flames to spread inside the sphere. Fortunately, nearby staff sprayed fire extinguishers to put out the fire, and both stuntmen were able to safely exit the sphere. They were reported to have been injured in their legs and arms and were transported to the hospital. The amusement park faced criticism for resuming the 'Globe of Death' performance the day after the accident occurred.
