AI superstar Nvidia announced third-quarter results that exceeded expectations this year.

On the 20th (local time), after the market closed, Nvidia reported third-quarter revenue of $35.08 billion and earnings per share (EPS) of $0.81.

This performance surpassed market expectations. According to market research firm LSEG, Nvidia was forecasted to record revenue of $33.16 billion and an EPS of $0.75.

Following the earnings announcement, Nvidia's stock was down 1.72% in after-hours trading as of 4:25 PM Eastern Time.
