Providing Warm Meals for the Elderly, Seniors, and Vulnerable Groups

Daesung Energy conducted a free meal service volunteer activity called "Happy Table" on the 20th in front of the Daegu Duryu Park Culture and Arts Center.

On this day, about 50 participants, including Daesung Energy employees volunteer group and the Red Cross Society Seo-gu branch, provided warm meals to approximately 800 vulnerable people such as local elderly and seniors.

The volunteer activity, held in chilly weather, was organized to support the nutrition and health of socially marginalized groups and to share a warm year-end atmosphere.

Warm rice, soup, and carefully prepared side dishes were served to the elderly lined up to receive meals, and especially for those with mobility difficulties, employees received and delivered the meals on their behalf.

Daesung Energy has signed an agreement with the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross and practices ESG management through various sponsorships and volunteer activities such as annual free meal services, holiday hope packages, and matching grant support projects for low-income youth.
