Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 20th that it has introduced the 'Integrated Registration License Tax (One-Stop) Service,' which allows the licensing department to directly handle the registration license tax for food and hygiene-related businesses.
Until now, when a civil petitioner obtained a license from the licensing department, they had to visit the tax department in person to pay the registration license tax and then return to the licensing department, causing inconvenience.
However, with the introduction of the 'Integrated Registration License Tax (One-Stop) Service' led by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 8th, the licensing department can now collectively process the payment of the registration license tax.
The applicable business types include 15 categories such as general restaurants, snack bars, instant sales manufacturing and processing businesses, food repackaging businesses, food vending machine operations, distribution specialty sales businesses, and other food sales businesses.
A Paju City official stated, "With the introduction of the Integrated Registration License Tax (One-Stop) Service, the processing time for civil petitions is expected to be efficiently reduced, and unnecessary administrative costs will be saved."
