CEO Sangju Lee Practices Warm Sharing for Local Children
On the 19th, Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced that Lee Sang-ju, the representative of the temporary government and owner of a well-known meat restaurant, donated 10 million won for the future children of Miryang on the 18th.
The donated funds will be matched 1:1 with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation project funds and used for the ‘Santa Expedition’ project, which will provide about 250 low-income elementary and middle school students with choice gifts such as sneakers, bags, and clothes, as well as common gifts like school supplies and snacks during Christmas.
Mayor Ahn Byung-gu said, “I am grateful to Representative Lee Sang-ju of the temporary government for sharing his warm heart despite these difficult times. I am very pleased that this donation will allow us to give more abundant Christmas gifts to children in vulnerable groups.”
Meanwhile, since 2020, Miryang Temporary Government has donated a total of 23 million won to Miryang City for vulnerable groups in the area, and since 2018, it has been consistently practicing neighborly love by donating 100 servings of pork monthly to three social welfare facilities.
