Participation as a Judge in the Dankook University College of Social Sciences Debate Competition

Lee Sang-il, Mayor of Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province, was invited as a judge to the 'Dankook Apple Debate (DAD)' held at Dankook University on the 18th, where he had time to communicate with the students.

This event, hosted by the Student Council of the College of Social Sciences at the university, is a program aimed at finding solutions to problems through exploration and debate on social issues. This year, Mayor Lee served as a judge alongside the president of the student council of the Jukjeon Campus and the president of the College of Social Sciences student council.

After the competition, at the request of the moderator, Mayor Lee also had time to talk with the students. At this occasion, he told the students, "Develop your observation skills and imagination, challenge based on your imagination, and even if that challenge fails, do not give up but keep trying and knocking on doors. Someday, you will achieve your dreams, and through that process, you will mature greatly yourself." He urged them to "imagine, challenge, and never give up."
