Seosan City Begins Data Integration Platform Construction Project

On the 18th, Seosan City in Chungnam announced that it held a kick-off briefing for the 'Seosan City Integrated Data Platform Construction Project' in the city hall's main conference room.

This kick-off briefing, aimed at administrative innovation based on data, was attended by more than 60 people, including Mayor Lee Wanseop, Vice Mayor Hong Soongwang, directors of departments, and heads of divisions.

The Seosan City Integrated Data Platform is being established to support efficient and reliable administrative operations by integrating and collecting both public and private data, analyzing it, and utilizing it for policy-making.

The attendees shared the platform's construction plans and overall implementation strategies for objective and scientific administration.

The main components of the project include: △Establishing an integrated repository for unified data collection and management △Building digital signage for policy monitoring △Constructing an integrated platform for public services, among others.

Additionally, a data mart will be created so that staff in each department can easily share and utilize their respective data.

The city plans to complete this project by June next year, accumulate data tailored to Seosan's characteristics, and utilize it for scientific and objective policy-making in each department.

Mayor Lee Wanseop stated, "Through the Seosan City Integrated Data Platform, we will realize objective and scientific administrative services and achieve public administration that earns the trust of our citizens," adding, "It will enable the accurate establishment and execution of municipal policies based on data."
