On the 20th, the Joguk Innovation Party will unveil a draft impeachment proposal against President Yoon Seok-yeol at Gwanghwamun Square.

At the on-site meeting of the Joguk Innovation Party's 'Three Years Is Too Long Special Committee,' a draft impeachment proposal containing 15 specific reasons for impeachment will be disclosed. The draft will also be published on the party's website to gather public opinion before finalizing the proposal.

The reason for proposing the impeachment includes the statement that "President Yoon Seok-yeol has extensively and seriously violated the Constitution and laws in the execution of his duties."

The specific reasons for impeachment include ▲Violation of the duty to realize public interest (involvement in non-prosecution of Deutsche Motors stock manipulation, preferential treatment in changing the route of the Seoul-Yangpyeong Expressway, luxury handbag purchases by the president's spouse, corruption in the construction of the presidential office and residence) ▲Violation of the duty to comply with and uphold the Constitution (abuse of presidential veto power, pressure to downplay and conceal the death of Corporal Chae Su-geun, abuse of authority in customs drug investigations) ▲Violation of political neutrality, representative democracy, and freedom of political parties (presidential interference in party affairs, Myung Tae-gyun national power abuse gate) ▲Violation of the rule of law (governance by enforcement decrees infringing on the legislative power of the National Assembly) ▲Violation of the preamble of the Constitution and others (denial of the legal continuity of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea and appointment of New Right figures, submissive diplomacy toward Japan including third-party compensation proposals for forced mobilization and the comfort women issue) ▲Violation of the right to life protection clause (discharge of contaminated water from Fukushima into the ocean, Itaewon disaster) ▲Infringement of freedom of the press, among others.

The draft impeachment proposal prepared by the Joguk Innovation Party is reported to be 115 pages long, about 30 pages longer than the impeachment proposal against former President Park Geun-hye.

Joguk Innovation Party leader Cho Kuk stated, "The Joguk Innovation Party is leading the impeachment process most legitimately and steadily to remove the president," adding, "In this harsh and urgent political situation, we will steadily prepare legal evidence and logic to ensure that the ultimate constitutional measures of 'impeachment' and 'removal' are not missed."
