The LINC3.0 Project Group of Dongmyung University participated in the 'Global Startup Camp & Competition (Global Marketing Project)' held in Sapporo, Japan, from November 14 to 17, showcasing their passionate entrepreneurial spirit.
This event was jointly organized by eight universities in the Busan area, including Dongmyung University, and Hokkaido University.
A total of 57 students from the Busan Startup Shared University and students from Hokkaido University formed 16 mixed teams to collaboratively discover global startup ideas and carry out projects.
The participating students conducted a survey on "Marketing Strategy Establishment through Analysis of Japanese Consumers' Smartphone Purchase Preferences," analyzed consumer data, reflected it in each team's startup item, and presented practical business models.
Team B from Dong-A University proposed a "Customized Pop-up Store Business Model Targeting Japanese Consumers" and won the grand prize. The Excellence Award and the Outstanding Award were awarded to Team A from Dong-A University and Team B from Dong-Eui University, respectively.
Shin Dong-seok, head of the LINC3.0 Project Group at Dongmyung University, said, "This has become a meaningful experience to directly explore the possibilities of startups in the global market," adding, "We hope future entrepreneurs will discover more practical and innovative ideas based on global exchange and cooperation."
