Ulsan Office of Education Enhances Safety Awareness for 3rd Year High School Examinees

Safety Education for 1,746 Third-Year Students at 9 Schools Until the 28th

Personal Mobility Device Safety Training and Crowd Accident Prevention Education

The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) has initiated measures to prevent various safety accidents among high school seniors after the college entrance exam.

From the 19th to the 28th, special safety education lectures will be conducted for 1,746 third-year students at nine high schools in the Ulsan area.

Sixteen professional safety education instructors from the Ulsan Safety Practice Citizens' Coalition and Ulsan Safety School will form pairs and visit high schools directly to provide both theoretical and experiential education.

The experts will teach safety education on personal mobility devices (PM), which have recently seen frequent accidents, crowd density accident prevention, basic disaster safety procedures (fire, earthquake, nuclear safety, etc.), and conduct practical training on first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

During the special lectures, the Ulsan Office of Education will hold a "Safety! Challenge Golden Bell" event to inform students about safety accident cases, causes, and prevention measures that occurred after the college entrance exam, aiming to raise students' safety awareness.

An official from the Ulsan Office of Education stated, "We will provide customized preventive education so that students who have overcome the significant challenge of the college entrance exam do not waste their precious time and effort due to safety accidents, protecting their dreams and future."

On the 13th, following the year-end academic operation support plan, the Ulsan Office of Education distributed safety education materials on personal mobility device safety, crowd density accident prevention, disaster accident prevention, and first aid (CPR) to prepare for possible safety accidents after the college entrance exam, guiding all schools to conduct the programs.

Efforts are being made to prevent various safety accidents that may occur amid the excited atmosphere of year-end students and to enhance the safety sensitivity of school members.
