KB Insurance Launches 'Creating Safe Stores' Initiative for Small Business Owners

KB Insurance announced on the 19th that it will implement the ‘Creating Safe Stores’ project to improve the environment of traditional markets vulnerable to fire.

The ‘Creating Safe Stores’ project is a new social contribution initiative by KB Insurance that targets small business stores requiring safety inspections. It inspects key safety elements such as electrical wiring, gas piping, and fire-fighting facilities to prevent fires and various safety accidents, helping to establish a safe business environment. Through this project, it is expected to prevent human and property damage caused by safety accidents in advance and contribute to creating a safe business environment.

On the 18th, KB Insurance conducted safety inspections at 10 small business stores within Uijeongbu Jeil Market located in Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province. On the 18th, KB Insurance conducted safety inspections on 10 small business stores within Uijeongbu Jeil Market located in Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province. Attendees at the inspection site included Yoon Hee-seung, Head of the Management Strategy Headquarters at KB Insurance, Lee Jae-cheol, Director of Corporate Economy Division at Uijeongbu City Hall, and risk management experts from KB Insurance Adjusters. They checked the electrical safety management status of each store and provided fire prevention education.

KB Insurance plans to inspect an additional 10 small business stores in the Uijeongbu area by the end of this month and will also carry out follow-up management such as replacing hazardous facilities identified during this safety inspection.
