November 22, 2 PM to 9 PM at Mapo Youth Startup Employment Support Center Naru
From startup expert lectures to networking sessions, open to all youth interested in startups
Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) will hold the “1st Youth Startup Day” on November 22nd in collaboration with the “Mapo Youth Startup Employment Support Center Naru.”
“Youth Startup Day” was planned for the first time this year to support the successful startups of young people and to establish a solid foundation for the growth of youth startup companies. The event consists of special lectures by startup experts and networking sessions.
As a first step for young entrepreneurs, Part 1 of the event will feature preliminary young instructors preparing for solo startups giving their first demonstration lectures on topics such as independent publishing, strength analysis, blog management, and transcription. These prospective instructors are graduates of the 2nd term of the “Professional Instructor Training Course” at the Mapo Startup Employment Support Center.
Additionally, a networking session will be prepared where young people preparing for solo startups as freelance instructors can freely participate and share their know-how and information with each other.
In Part 2, CEO Shin Bong-gwan of CNsol Co., Ltd. will give a lecture titled “Startup Roadmap for Prospective and Early-stage Entrepreneurs,” covering difficulties encountered from preparation to progress stages, the necessity of funding, and information on startup funding channels.
Along with this, there will be free networking discussions on overall startup topics and group networking sessions where participants share experiences and collaborate in specific fields.
Mapo-gu plans to hold events annually on the theme of youth startups to encourage networking and cooperation among young entrepreneurs, resolve their difficulties, and help them achieve successful startups.
This event will be held from 2 PM to 9 PM at the “Mapo Youth Startup Employment Support Center Naru (13 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu),” and any young person hoping to start a business or an early-stage young entrepreneur can participate. Young people wishing to participate can contact the “Mapo Youth Startup Employment Support Center Naru” for detailed information.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, “We prepared Youth Startup Day so that young people’s innovative ideas can lead to ‘successful startups,’” and added, “Mapo-gu will continue to provide unwavering interest and support to be a strong ally for young people passionate about startups.”
