Review of the 2025 Main Budget Revenue and Expenditure Proposals and Other Agendas
The Muan County Council in Jeollanam-do (Chairman Lee Hoseong) opened the 298th 2nd regular session on the 18th, scheduled to last for 25 days until the 12th of next month.
During this regular session, council member Im Hyunsoo will lead the review of council-initiated ordinances such as the "Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on Livestock Rearing Restrictions in Muan County," as well as executive-submitted agendas including the "2025 Fiscal Year Budget Revenue and Expenditure Plan."

The main schedule begins with listening to and questioning the county administration from the 19th to the 26th, followed by the operation of standing committees (November 27 to December 3) and the Special Budget and Accounts Committee (December 4 to 6).
Subsequently, from December 9 to 11, county administration questions and answers will be conducted, and on the 12th, the 11th plenary session will be held to make final decisions on the agendas reviewed by the standing and special committees, concluding this regular session.
Additionally, during the 1st plenary session, council member Kim Wonjoong gave a 5-minute free speech on "Establishing a Dedicated Organization for the Efficient Promotion of Public Development Projects," council member Im Donghyun suggested "Measures to Ensure the Effectiveness of Ordinances to Revitalize Autonomous Legislation," and finally, council member Im Yuntaek proposed "Measures to Compensate Farm Income to Overcome the Crisis in Farm Management," bringing key county administration issues into public discussion.
Chairman Lee Hoseong stated, "This regular session is an important occasion to wrap up the year and discuss next year's budget and operational plans," adding, "We will improve policies so that residents can feel the impact through meticulous budget review and thorough inspection of county administration issues."
