Yeonggwang-gun to Conduct 'Individual House Price Characteristics Survey' Until January 17 Next Year

On-site Verification of Building Use, Structure, and Age

Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 18th that it will conduct a characteristic survey of 14,899 households by January 17 next year to calculate individual housing prices as of January 1, 2025.

According to the county, the individual housing price characteristic survey will operate a focused investigation period until December 22, during which public officials and investigators will verify building usage, structure, roof, extension or reconstruction status, and elapsed years through on-site inspections based on survey forms.

To ensure accurate and systematic characteristic surveys, the county formed an individual housing price investigation team led by the head of the Finance Department, and on the 14th, conducted training on survey guidelines and safety rules for town and township officials and investigators.

Once the survey is completed, individual housing prices will be calculated by comparing the characteristics of standard houses and individual houses, followed by price verification and opinion submission procedures by the Korea Real Estate Board. The individual housing prices as of January 1, 2025, will be finalized and announced by April 30 next year.

A county official requested, “Since individual housing prices provide price information related to the housing market and are used as standards for various taxes such as national and local taxes, we ask for active cooperation to ensure smooth surveys when investigators visit the sites.”
