Case-Based Training for Senior Government Officials
On the 18th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, invited Baek Young-nam, an instructor from the Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, to the county office and conducted a 'Prevention of the Four Major Types of Violence' training for high-ranking officials including County Governor Lee Byung-no, Deputy Governor Jeong Gwang-seon, and department heads. On the 18th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, conducted a '4 Major Violence' prevention training for County Governor Lee Byeong-no, Deputy Governor Jeong Gwang-seon, and senior officials.
The training focused on presenting practical prevention and response measures centered on cases of the 4 major violence types (sexual harassment, sexual violence, prostitution, and domestic violence) that can occur inside and outside the workplace.
Baek Young-nam, an instructor from the Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, gave an in-depth lecture on case analysis of violence incidents, responsibilities within organizations, and methods for implementing policies for prevention.
County Governor Lee Byeong-no stated, “Senior officials must take the lead in violence prevention to create a healthy organizational culture,” and added, “We will actively promote institutional improvements and practical measures to prevent various violence issues occurring within the organization.”
