The visit included a tour of the event site.
Next, at Pinnacle Land Arboretum in Asan City, they observed the 50 Million Chrysanthemum Fragrance Festival, an event hosted by a private agricultural corporation, reviewing overall operational matters and touring the festival grounds to conclude the visit.
Lee Joo-hoon, the representative council member of the research group, said, "Benchmarking excellent cases from other regions provided an opportunity to consider the direction of each festival, including discovering stories for our city's representative festivals such as the Namhansanseong Cultural Festival, Gwangju Royal Ceramics Conference, and Toechon Tomato Festival, as well as coexistence with local communities." He expressed the intention to develop Gwangju City's festivals through the generation of diverse ideas.
