New Power Plasma has overcome the economic downturn and simultaneously achieved both external growth and qualitative growth.
New Power Plasma (CEO Yang Jaeyoung), a leading company in plasma for semiconductor and display processes, announced on the 18th that its cumulative sales and operating profit on a separate basis for the third quarter of this year reached 109.2 billion KRW and 23.7 billion KRW, respectively, marking increases of 30% and 191% compared to the same period last year.
This strong performance is due to the increasing global demand driven by ▲ rising demand for miniaturization in semiconductor processes ▲ expansion of ultra-precision etching (increase in stacking layers, nano miniaturization) ▲ yield improvement (removal of impurities), which has expanded the necessity for plasma cleaning equipment.
A company representative from New Power Plasma stated, “Our plasma technology, where gas is ionized, is an essential technology used in precise processes such as fine etching, deposition, and cleaning in semiconductor and display manufacturing.” He added, “In particular, we have secured a total plasma solution optimized for front-end semiconductor and display processes, which has enhanced our ability to respond to domestic and international customer demands, directly leading to strong performance through diversification and increased proportion of overseas clients as well as existing domestic customers.”
Along with this, the cumulative sales on a consolidated basis for the third quarter also reached 375 billion KRW, setting a new record high.
This is explained by the continuous new orders in the aerospace sector from SpacePro (CEO Choi Yonggyun), an advanced composite material-based space defense company, and sales growth driven by increased demand for foldable products from DooinSys (CEO Ok Kyungsuk), the global leader in UTG, with strong performances from each excellent subsidiary forming a pillar of New Power Plasma’s explosive growth.
Regarding this, New Power Plasma stated, “Both our company and subsidiaries have succeeded in targeting overseas markets by focusing on product diversification that leads the market based on continuous technological development.” They added, “New Power Plasma will focus on targeting the ultra-precision semiconductor and display global markets, maximize business capabilities of each excellent subsidiary to grow into a global top-tier company, and pursue a successful IPO in 2025 to share the fruits with shareholders as a leading company.”
