Paju-si Hosts the 7th Honors Day... Commendation for Sharing Contributors

Lee Heung-su, CEO of Chilseong Co., Joins Paju 21st Honor Society

Gyeonggi Paju City (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 18th that the 7th Paju City Honour’s Day was held on the 15th at the Unjeong Happiness Center Multipurpose Hall.

‘Honour’s Day’ is an event prepared to express gratitude and respect to donation contributors and high-value donors who have personally practiced the value of sharing and contributed to making Paju City warmer. The city selected 25 donation contributors through recommendations from towns, townships, social welfare facilities, and organizations, followed by a review process.

The event proceeded in the order of a classical music performance, presentation of appreciation plaques to the Honour Society and distinguished donation companies, awarding of commendations to donation contributors, induction ceremony for new Honour Society members, viewing of a donation video for helping neighbors, and group photo session.

Since the birth of the first Paju City Honour Society member in 2013, there had been 20 members to date, but on this day, Lee Heung-soo, CEO of Chilseong Co., Ltd., pledged a donation of 100 million KRW and joined as the 21st Honour Society member.

Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City said, “Thank you for leading the way in the development of the Paju community and the culture of sharing,” and added, “Paju City will also strive to improve welfare for vulnerable groups.”
