Formed to foster children's artistic talent and creativity, the choir gave an invited performance at the ‘Social Welfare Day Ceremony’ held on September 20th this year at the Seodaemun-gu Office auditorium, receiving enthusiastic responses. Due to strong requests from the local community and parents, this concert has been prepared.
Lee Taekyung, Center Director of Seoul City Base No. 3 Uri Dongnae Care Center, which is organizing the performance, said, “Thanks to the active cooperation between local children's centers and Uri Dongnae Care Centers, we were able to plan this event, and we hope many people will support the children who have practiced hard.”
Mayor Lee Seongheon said, “I expect the choir activities to greatly help children demonstrate their artistic talents, cultivate character, and promote harmony among the members.”
Seodaemun-gu’s seven local children's centers and eleven Uri Dongnae Care Centers jointly hold children’s events such as sports competitions and actively promote exchanges among staff, setting an example of active communication and harmony among Seoul’s autonomous districts.
