Hancom announced on the 18th that it is achieving results by signing memorandums of understanding (MOUs) related to digital transformation with major institutions and companies such as Gyeonggi Provincial Government, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and BGF Retail. Additionally, it is conducting proof of concept (PoC) projects for artificial intelligence (AI) products.
According to Hancom, the PoC projects involve optimizing Hancom's AI products, including Hancom Assistant, Hancom Pedia, and Hancom Data Loader, tailored to the characteristics of each institution.
These projects have shown results in various aspects such as increased work efficiency, resource savings, and improved data quality. The company reported that in the distribution companies where PoCs are underway, work efficiency between sales managers and MDs has dramatically improved through Hancom Pedia.
Hancom contributes to accelerating digital transformation by innovating actual work environments through reducing repetitive tasks and enhancing process efficiency using AI products. Upon successful completion of the PoC, the pilot projects are expected to transition into official projects, leading to increased sales. Furthermore, incorporating feedback from the field helps in advancing the products.
Hancom plans to officially launch all major AI products within the year and expand into various industrial sectors centered around its integrated AI brand, Hancom BRAIN, based on successful cases.
Kim Yeon-su, CEO of Hancom, emphasized, "We will continue to increase cooperation with more institutions and companies through Hancom’s unique AI products," adding, "We will contribute to public service innovation and corporate digital transformation to improve work efficiency and further solidify our market position."
