198 consultations and MOU agreements worth $1.1 million concluded
The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) announced on the 18th that it held a business-to-business (B2B) export consultation meeting linked to the '2024 Indonesia K-Expo' in Jakarta, Indonesia, on the 14th and 15th.

This expo was organized to support the overseas expansion of Korean consumer goods and content companies through the collaboration of five government ministries?the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups?as well as seven organizations including KITA.
At the B2B export consultation meeting hosted by KITA, 16 domestic companies specializing in food, cosmetics, and household goods with high market potential in Indonesia participated. These companies conducted 198 consultations worth a total of 10.8 million USD with 71 Indonesian buyers pre-matched by KITA. During the event, tangible results were achieved, including the signing of memorandums of understanding (MOUs) worth a total of 1.1 million USD.
Lee Myung-ja, Head of KITA’s Overseas Marketing Division, stated, "We will continue to expand the 'K-Premium Consumer Goods Exhibition' held in major global cities such as Paris and Ho Chi Minh City."
