Interact with the App... Communicate with Voice Assistant Siri
Available for Direct Experience at 7 Apple Stores
Apple's mixed reality (MR) headset 'Vision Pro' was officially launched in South Korea on the 15th and is currently being showcased at Apple Store locations through experience events.
Apple stated, "Vision Pro is a device that seamlessly combines digital content with the real world," adding, "It will provide a powerful spatial experience that will completely transform the way people work, collaborate, communicate, reminisce about the past, and enjoy entertainment."
Users can interact with applications by tapping two fingers together on the Vision Pro, use voice commands to dictate text, or type using a virtual keyboard. They can ask the voice assistant 'Siri' to open or close apps, play media, or answer questions.
Currently, there are over 2,500 apps developed specifically for Vision Pro available on the App Store, and more than 1.5 million apps, including popular Korean apps like KakaoTalk and TVING, are compatible with Vision Pro.
Vision Pro features an ultra-high-resolution display system utilizing micro OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology. Its spatial audio system uses two individual amplified drivers, creating the sensation that sound is coming from the surrounding environment.
Users can experience Vision Pro firsthand at seven Apple Store locations, including Myeongdong, Garosugil, and Gangnam. Experience session reservations are available online. Visitors can explore various features such as immersive music videos, entertainment content, spatial photos and videos, and productivity-enhancing functions.
Vision Pro is available for purchase at domestic Apple Store locations and the online Apple Store. Prices start at 4,990,000 KRW and it is offered with storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
