Gyeonggi Hanam City Disabled Welfare Center (Director Min Bok-gi) announced on the 17th that it has established a mutual cooperative relationship through a business agreement signed on the 13th with the Hanam City Middle School Parents Police Union (President Lee Jae-sook) to collaborate for the enhancement of community welfare services for people with disabilities in Hanam City and to ensure a safe educational environment.

The Hanam City Middle School Parents Police Union is an organization under the Gyeonggi Southern Provincial Police Agency, consisting of parents police associations from 13 middle schools within Hanam City. They conduct security and preventive activities such as patrols inside and outside schools and school violence prevention campaigns to create a safe educational environment for youth.
Lee Jae-sook, President of the Hanam City Middle School Parents Police Union, said, “I am grateful to the Hanam City Disabled Welfare Center for providing the opportunity to work together for the local community, and I will strive to take greater interest in community affairs and share our intentions moving forward.”
Min Bok-gi, Director of the Hanam City Disabled Welfare Center, stated, “I am impressed by the passion of the parents who work hard to provide a safe educational environment for the youth, who are the hope of the future. It seems that our society can be safer and healthier because of such efforts,” and added, “I hope we will become good partners in creating a warm society where people with and without disabilities walk together.”
