Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the '2025 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign' proclamation ceremony held on the afternoon of the 15th at the auditorium on the 5th floor of the Yeongdeungpo District Office annex, where he performed a donation culture promotion performance.
This project will run from November 15, 2024, to February 14, 2025, aiming to support low-income families through cooperation between the Community Chest of Korea and the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
Having achieved the highest fundraising amount ever last year, the district has set this year's target at 2.1 billion KRW to extend warmth to more neighbors. Residents who wish to participate in sharing can donate through local community centers and various departments during the fundraising period.
Mayor Choi Ho-gwon of Yeongdeungpo District said, "Although these are difficult times, I hope that the warm hearts of many people will come together again this year to reach neighbors in need," and added, "We ask for the active interest and participation of residents in this fundraising campaign."
