The 'Tantan-daero Campaign' involves completing a total of nine eco-friendly tasks, including ▲using reusable cups ▲using handkerchiefs instead of tissue paper ▲sharing unused items ▲not leaving food waste ▲using shopping bags and eco-bags, and certifying these actions through an application. A total of 23 institutions in Gyeonggi-do participated.

The foundation achieved first place among all institutions, reducing a total of 646,509g of carbon. This is equivalent to planting 98 pine trees about 30 years old. Through this activity, the foundation has established itself as a leading institution in eco-friendly practices.

Additionally, to celebrate its anniversary this year, the foundation conducted various environmental protection activities such as cleaning local rivers and holding special lectures on proper waste separation. In particular, by collaborating with participating companies, the foundation posted content introducing eco-friendly companies on social media, practicing ESG management together with stakeholders.

Yoon Deok-ryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, said, “It is meaningful to share the importance of resource circulation through participation in the Tantan-daero Campaign,” and added, “We will continue to expand citizen participation and contribute to environmental protection through sustainable eco-friendly activities.”
