Barbershops, which are now hard to find, have gradually transformed into 'barbershops,' becoming trendy spaces responsible for the style of modern men.
The name 'Stanley,' familiar to Uijeongbu citizens, originated from 'Camp Stanley' located in Gosan-dong, Uijeongbu. In fact, Cha Ji-ho, the owner of Stanley Barbershop, who worked at a barbershop inside the US military base, gained experience and honed his skills by encountering various hair types and head shapes within the base.
Mayor Kim Dong-geun shared stories with the staff of Stanley Barbershop about living as small business owners and citizens of Uijeongbu, saying, "We will continue to pay close attention to the lives of our citizens and do our best to create a healthy and livable city for all."
Marking the second anniversary of the 8th elected term, Uijeongbu City operates the 'Into the Lives of the People' program, where the mayor personally visits citizens' living spaces, workplaces, learning centers, and playgrounds to experience daily life as part of the 'Citizen Daily Care Project.'
