Goyang Industry Promotion Agency and Korea Technology Finance Corporation Sign Business Agreement

Mutual Cooperation in Discovering Companies and Providing Financial Support to Promote Excellent SMEs in the Media Content Industry

Gyeonggi Goyang Industry Promotion Agency (Director Han Dong-gyun) announced on the 15th that it signed a ‘Win-Win Partnership Comprehensive Business Agreement’ with the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho) on the 14th at the Bitmaru headquarters to support excellent small and medium-sized enterprises in the media content industry.

Attendees at the event included Han Dong-gyun, Director of Goyang Industry Promotion Agency, Cho Young-gil, Head of the Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and Kim Moo-young, Branch Manager of the Gyeonggi Content Venture Investment Finance Center.


The memorandum of understanding includes mutual cooperation in discovering companies and providing financial support to foster excellent small and medium-sized enterprises in the media content industry and investment sectors.


The Korea Technology Finance Corporation introduced the nation’s first Cultural Industry Completion Guarantee System in 2009 to focus on nurturing the cultural content industry. Additionally, through dedicated cultural content support centers operating in four locations?Seoul, Gyeonggi, Daejeon, and Busan?it has supported more than 1.2 trillion KRW in content production funds by 2023, playing a vital role as a stepping stone for content production SMEs to grow into global companies.


Director Han Dong-gyun said, “I hope this agreement will not only lead to the discovery and financial support of content companies located in Goyang City but also become a driving force to revitalize the stagnant local economy.”
