On the 15th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam selected four teams that showed outstanding performance in promoting major city policies as the 'Excellent Public Officials of the Month' for October and awarded them commendations.
The selected excellent public official teams are ▲ the ‘Social Welfare Division Welfare Policy General Team,’ which promptly paid compensation and consolation money to small business owners affected by the fire at Masan Fish Market and Fruit and Vegetable Market ▲ the ‘Tourism and Festival Team,’ which successfully held the Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival, Changwon’s representative festival, contributing to local tourism and commercial revitalization ▲ the ‘Livestock Division Animal Protection Team,’ which integrated three district animal protection centers into the Changwon Animal Protection Center and promoted its opening ▲ and the ‘Masan Happo-gu Tax Division Delinquent Collection Team,’ which introduced the KakaoTalk local tax guidance and payment system for the first time in Gyeongnam, increasing the local tax collection rate by 321% compared to the previous year.
The city awarded each team a certificate of commendation and provided Changwon Love Gift Certificates and one day of special leave as prizes.

Meanwhile, Changwon Special City conducts monthly commendations for excellent public officials and quarterly rewards for officials who contribute to city development, continuously working to boost employee morale.
