The Music Academy is a signature program of the music library, designed for citizens who love music, featuring in-depth lectures, explanations, and performances by genre experts.

In the first half of the year, the program invited Song Hyun-min, editor-in-chief of 'Monthly Gekseok,' and the fusion gugak duo Solsol to provide a broad understanding and communication time about the 'Gugak' genre, which embodies Korea's unique sentiments. The program was successfully completed with the participation of 149 citizens.

On December 1 at 2 p.m., singer-songwriter Yeon Jeong will perform, showcasing her beautiful voice along with melodic guitar tunes.

Following that, a series of four lectures starting on December 3 will be held with reporter Lim Hee-yoon, who is active as a popular music critic. The lectures will explore various aspects of globally beloved pop stars, beginning with the eternal youth crater The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix, and covering Queen, Oasis, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Eminem, and David Bowie.

Program registration will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from the 15th through the library's website under the music and arts programs section. For more details, please refer to the announcements on the library website or contact the person in charge for guidance.
