Paju-si Conducts 'Proactive Administration Training' to Enhance Everyone's Happiness

Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 15th that it conducted the '2024 Proactive Administration Staff Training' on the 14th at the Small Theater of the Citizens' Hall, targeting about 700 employees and local public institution staff to establish a culture of proactive administration.

This training was conducted under the theme "The Secret to Increasing My Happiness: Proactive Administration," with Lee Seung-eun, a dedicated instructor from the Ministry of Personnel Management, invited as the lecturer.


The lecture began with the necessity of proactive administration, introduced the negative impacts of passive administration, presented excellent cases of proactive administration that solved problems from a citizen-centered perspective, and explained why proactive administration creates happiness. This fresh approach, combining proactive administration with psychology, enhanced employees' understanding and engagement.


Paju City selects outstanding proactive administration public officials every six months and grants them special privileges, striving to boost employees' morale regarding proactive administration and to spread a culture of proactive administration within the public service community.


Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City said to the public officials, "I hope this training serves as an opportunity for you to carry out proactive administration that increases the happiness of both employees and citizens."
