On the 14th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 15th that it had signed a business agreement for the promotion of the Hometown Love Donation System with Gonggammanse Co., Ltd., a social enterprise operating 'Wegive,' a private platform for the Hometown Love Donation System.

Through this agreement, Anseong City will promote activities related to the Hometown Love Donation System, related information, and thank-you gift information through 'Wegive.' The Hometown Love Donation System allows individuals to donate up to 5 million KRW annually to local governments other than their place of residence. Donations up to 100,000 KRW are fully tax-deductible, and the excess amount receives a 16.5% tax credit. The respective local government provides thank-you gifts within 30% of the donation amount. Donations can be made through the comprehensive Hometown Love Donation information system 'Hometown Love e-Eum' or at agricultural cooperatives nationwide.
Mayor Kim Bora expressed her expectation, saying, "Through Wegive, prospective donors will have easy access to information about Anseong City's Hometown Love Donation System, and Anseong City will be able to effectively promote thank-you gifts and other related information."
