Pusan National University Hosts 'Bu-Ul-Gyeong Region Disabled University Students Employment Camp'

Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Disabled University Students Receive 'Customized Career' Employment Counseling

Busan National University (President Choi Jae-won) Disability Student Support Center is organizing the ‘2024 Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Region Disability Student Employment Camp’ to enhance the employment capabilities of disabled university students. The event will be held for 2 days and 1 night from the 22nd to the 23rd at the Sea Cloud Hotel in Haeundae, Busan.

The employment camp, starting at 1 PM on the 22nd, will include ▲Analysis of NCS job descriptions based on major support preferences ▲Establishment of employment strategies by major ▲Understanding private sector jobs and individual career counseling ▲Interview special lectures and 1-minute self-introduction methods ▲1:1 interview skills training and mock interviews ▲Image making through personal color diagnosis ▲Special lectures on employment trends for people with disabilities, among other programs.

Kim Ja-kyung (Professor of Special Education), Director of the Busan National University Disability Student Support Center, said, “The Busan National University Disability Student Support Center serves as a hub university for customized career and employment support for disabled students in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region. We provide various programs such as recruitment briefings, employment camps, and competency enhancement training to facilitate smooth social integration of disabled students.” He added, “Through this employment camp, we hope our students can confidently design their career paths successfully and receive practical help in choosing their direction after graduation.”

Applications for participation in this employment camp can be submitted online until the 19th. If text captions or other accommodations are needed during the event, applicants can request them at the time of registration to receive convenience on the day of the event.
