Yeongju City to Hold 'Hometown Love Donation Event' at Year-End

Every 50th Donor Receives an Extra Gift

"Enjoy Year-End Tax Benefits Too"

Yeongju City in Gyeongbuk Province is holding a "1+1 Additional Gift Event" for donors of the Hometown Love Donation Program from the 15th to December 31st to celebrate the end of the year.

During this event, participants who donate 100,000 KRW or more online (via the Hometown Love e-um website) or offline (by visiting any NongHyup Bank nationwide) will receive an additional gift if they are every 50th donor. Winners will be notified individually by phone.

The additional gifts can be chosen from 14 popular items worth about 30,000 KRW, including 4kg of apples, a Korean beef set (500g soup cut + 500g bulgogi), a Korean pork set (600g pork belly + 600g neck meat), 10kg of rice, red ginseng products, and local brand ready-to-cook meals. Detailed gift options can be checked through Yeongju City's official SNS channels.

Kim Junhan, Head of the Taxation Division, said, "This event was prepared to attract the interest of office workers who want to receive year-end tax deductions and to widely promote the benefits of the Hometown Love Donation Program. We have prepared various gifts, so we ask for your active interest and participation."

The Hometown Love Donation Program allows donors to contribute up to 5 million KRW annually to local governments other than their registered address and receive tax deductions (full deduction up to 100,000 KRW, 16.5% on the excess) and gifts worth up to 30% of the donation amount.
