Hana Securities analyzed on the 15th that expectations are growing for Deepnoid's launch of the generative AI medical software 'M4CXR.'
Researcher Jo Jeong-hyun of Hana Securities explained, "The competitiveness of software technology is expected to depend on whether generative AI is applied," adding, "In medical AI, various software functions that enhance doctors' convenience are being developed, such as generative AI-based automatic generation of image reading reports, medical data analysis and organization, and medical information chatbots."
He continued, "Global company G's Med-PaLM M is a representative multimodal AI software capable of processing text, medical images, and other information," and added, "Deepnoid is also the first in the domestic medical AI industry to introduce foundation models such as Llama into its medical AI solution DeepChest (an X-ray-based chest image diagnostic analysis solution)." Furthermore, he introduced, "They will complete the development of M4CXR, an automatic reading report software with high accuracy and a level comparable to radiology reports, within this year," and explained, "M4CXR will lead the domestic outsourced reading report market as it can handle various diseases and modalities including chest X-rays, brain, lungs, and spine."
Researcher Jo predicted that Deepnoid will turn profitable next year. It is estimated to achieve sales of 26.3 billion KRW and an operating profit of 6.7 billion KRW next year. Sales are expected to increase by 96.2% compared to the previous year, and operating profit will turn positive.
