Safety Accident Prevention with Education Donation Safety Net Organizations

Areas Dense with Student Multi-use Facilities and Safety Vulnerabilities

Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) has been conducting joint life guidance from the 14th to the 16th, focusing on areas where many students gather, in collaboration with Ulsan Police Agency and educational donation safety network organizations.

This joint life guidance was organized to prevent student misconduct after the College Scholastic Ability Test and to prevent and respond to safety accidents in crowded situations.

Officials focused their guidance on areas densely populated with student multi-use facilities, such as around Hyundai and Lotte Department Stores in Nam-gu, Youth Street in Seongnam-dong, Jung-gu, Ilsan Beach in Dong-gu, Songjeong District in Buk-gu, and Guyeong-ri, Beomseo-eup, Ulju-gun.

The Ulsan Office of Education is strengthening patrols in safety-vulnerable areas together with educational donation safety network organizations and is also working to establish an out-of-school safety net to prevent school violence.

These organizations, supported by the Ulsan Office of Education, regularly conduct their own patrols and consistently promote joint life guidance with the Office of Education during periods when students are more active outside school, such as vacations and after the College Scholastic Ability Test.

In particular, this joint life guidance focused on securing student safety from various safety accident risks and preventing student misconduct in cooperation with the Ulsan Police Agency.

Shin Jae-ho, Director of Democratic Citizenship Education Division, said, “We all need to work together so that third-year high school students can spend safe and wholesome leisure time after the College Scholastic Ability Test,” adding, “The Office of Education will also put more effort into life education for students.”
