LG OLED TV Wins CES Best Innovation Award for 3 Consecutive Years

LG Electronics Wins Total of 24 Awards Including 3 Grand Innovation Awards

LG Electronics announced on the 15th that it has won numerous CES Innovation Awards, including the 'CES Best of Innovation Award.'


LG Electronics received a total of 24 CES Innovation Awards, including three Best of Innovation Awards. In particular, the LG OLED TV received six Innovation Awards, including the Best of Innovation Award in the video display and picture quality categories. With this, the LG OLED TV has won the Best of Innovation Award for three consecutive years and has set a record of receiving CES Innovation Awards for 13 consecutive years since its first launch in 2013 without missing a single year.

The proprietary smart TV platform 'webOS,' regarded as the core of LG Electronics' platform-based service business, also won an Innovation Award in the cybersecurity category. LG Electronics operates the 'webOS Renew Program,' which provides webOS upgrades for five years so that customers can experience the new features of the evolving webOS every year.


The AI home hub equipped with generative artificial intelligence (AI), 'LG ThinQ ON,' also received a CES Innovation Award. Serving as the 'brain' of the AI home, LG ThinQ ON is a key device that maintains a 24/7 connection with home appliances and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Based on generative AI, it monitors the indoor environment and appliances while conversing with customers in everyday language to understand situations and optimally control various devices.


Additionally, the 'Mobile AI Home Hub (project name: Q9)' won Innovation Awards in both the artificial intelligence and smart home categories. The Q9 features multimodal sensing capabilities that combine voice, sound, and image recognition. It connects various home appliances and IoT devices, autonomously moves around the space based on autonomous driving technology to understand the environment, and expresses emotions through eyes displayed on its screen to interact with users.


The 'LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor,' which won three awards including the Best of Innovation Award in gaming and picture quality categories, offers an immersive gaming experience with the overwhelming picture quality and fast response speed of self-emissive OLED technology.


Other products that received Innovation Awards include ▲the ultra-light premium AI PC 'LG Gram Pro,' ▲the 'LG MyView Smart Monitor,' which can be enjoyed without a separate PC connection from OTT to home office, ▲the 'LG UltraFine Monitor,' optimized for high-quality content creation, and ▲the premium lifestyle projector 'LG CineBeam.'
